The actress sat for the photo two months ago at White Dental Clinic in Apgujeong-dong, southern Seoul, after having undergone jaw realignment surgery there. According to local media outlets, netizens have expressed shock at Shin’s new look, with many saying that it gives her a softer, younger look than before. Shin’s agency said that the actress decided to have the surgery in order to take on more feminine roles. The actress made her debut 30 years ago and has since won a steady fan base for her roles in the films “My Wife is a Gangster” (2001) and “Bystanders” (2005), among others.
