여기서 a number of 는 (수의량이 ) 몇개의 란 뜻입니다.
(숮자가 많고 적음을 나타낼때는 )
a small number of…( 소수의…., 적은수의… )
a large number of….( 다수의…., 많은수의 …)
주의할점은 The number of…는 이런 수의 대소와는 상관없이
” …번호, ..건수 ”의 뜻이니 잘 구별해서 쓰세요.
우리말로, 몇개의, 적은수의…, 많은수의…. 라고 말하고 싶을때는
a number of, a small number of…, a large number of..를 쓰시고,
방/카드 번호, 사고건수 등을 말할때는 The number of….를 쓰세요.
예를들어,
